Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

by

It’s “the economy, stupid.” Make no mistake, voters care about how government impacts their family’s pocketbook. The ’92 Clinton campaign knew it, but the ’16 campaign forgot: jobs and the promise of economic growth win at the ballot box every time.

Republicans and Democrats must recognize this was a jobs and economy election. But to succeed now – and maintain voter support in the 2018 midterms – both parties must adopt policies that take us from 1-3 percent economic growth to 6-7 percent. Look for tax reform and economic stimulus packages to be out of the gate early in 2017.
