Getting Down to the Business of Uniting the Country

Last week, I wrote a letter to the president-elect titled “Manufacturers: We Are the Solution.” I’m proud to say more than 1,100 business leaders also signed it.

We signed together because we agree that while it was a hard-fought campaign, and while there are many divisions in our country that need mending, business can help lead the way toward reconciliation.

Our industries, comprised of more than 12 million men and women in manufacturing, have the power to work together and restore faith in our economic and government institutions and to bolster the promise of America, starting now.
