Election years come and go, but the issues stay the same.
For retail, an industry supporting one out of every four American jobs and contributing $2.6 trillion to our GDP, the issues that topped the list four years ago — tax reform, health care, labor, trade, and credit/debit card swipe fees — remain.
We are optimistic about what can get done under a new president and Congress, and will continue our efforts to advance a pro-growth agenda for the benefit of our economy, our retailers, their associates, the consumers they serve, and the communities where they live and work.
