Celebrate all things jazz at the 2022 DC JazzFest Aug. 31-Sept. 4.
While the festival’s first concert took place at the Lincoln Theater in 2004, it now features multiple waterfront stages and spans a dozen neighborhoods offering a variety of jazz experiences, most free to attend. A Tribute to Jazz in DC offers a preview of the festival and a scholarship fundraiser on Aug. 26th.
DC JazzFest focuses on uplifting new and established musicians by bringing unity to the diverse musicians and communities served. They also educate early childhood through high school students with DC JazzBops, Jazzin’ InSchool and Jazzin’ AfterSchool.
