It has now been a full decade since Congress last updated U.S. energy policy. We are long overdue for modern policies that foster innovation, reduce regulatory barriers and promote a true all-of-the-above strategy.
That’s what I set out to achieve with my broad, bipartisan energy bill in the last Congress, and we will continue to work on the priorities it contained this year.
Whether hydropower reforms, LNG permitting, mineral security, nuclear energy, basic research, cyber security, grid modernization or efficiency, our committee has assembled a strong set of good ideas that will boost our economic prosperity.
