New Online Care Solutions Can Close Gaps in Coverage, Costs

by

While health care reform focuses primarily on access and cost, less than 5% of the population consumes over 60% of federal costs. By focusing on the nine million dually eligible (elderly receiving both Medicare and Medicaid) with complex needs, we would expand resources to provide better care for all.

A new online care solution pioneered by Nalari Health is delivering a technology-enabled remote care model to these most at-risk patients, closing gaps in care by improving timeliness and ease of access and significantly reducing the total cost of care by avoiding unnecessary emergency department visits and hospital admissions.
