Sen. Tester: Veterans’ Affairs Committee Working to Get VA the Resources It Needs

by

Veterans have made it clear they prefer to get their health care from the VA, but the VA has a lot of work to do to ensure timely, high-quality service.

As Ranking Member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, my priority is to ensure the VA has the resources to serve every veteran. We do that by recruiting more medical professionals, improving services for women veterans, and expanding rural services like telemedicine. And when it makes sense for veterans to get care elsewhere, we need to make sure there’s an integrated network of providers ready to fill the gaps.
