I thought TIME summed up the year well in its Person of the Year #MeToo cover.
My 2016 book, “Broad Influence, How Women Are Changing the Way America Works,” looked at what happens when women reach critical mass – somewhere between 20% and 30% in any body whether a legislature, a corporate board or a Navy ship. Studies found that one of the first things that happens: the casting couch culture goes out the window.
It’s been incredible to see women reach this tipping point from Hollywood to Washington. I hope now in 2018 we cement that progress and don’t regress!
