The time is now to invest in our nation’s infrastructure. It will revitalize our economy, increase U.S. economic competitiveness and improve Americans’ daily lives.
Restoring and upgrading our national infrastructure isn’t a partisan issue. I’ve introduced bipartisan legislation that would invest in airports by lifting the cap on passenger facility charges; rebuild ports and harbors by fully utilizing the harbor maintenance trust fund; and invest in our roads, bridges and transit systems by indexing gas and diesel user fees.
These bipartisan solutions would drastically increase investment in our infrastructure, spur innovation and economic growth and create millions of jobs.
