We are blessed in this country to have hard-working farm families that care for our land. They produce bounty of crops that are the envy of the world.
They constitute less than one percent of our population, but keep food prices low and lead the way — via old-fashioned work, world-class technology and productivity — to feed a growing world. They will till and plant again this spring, despite depressed prices and threats of being “trade war” collateral damage.
Amidst this uncertainty, we must stand by our nation’s farmers — they deserve strong farm policy and an improved farm bill.
