Why should we lower the barriers of entry for young candidates?

Short answer: If we don’t, we’re looking at another four years of Trump and another decade of gerrymandering.

Run for Something has endorsed 500 young, progressive candidates and recruited 18,000 more. Our goal is to build the bench and increase turnout by running great candidates – locally and everywhere. There are 100,000 uncontested races each cycle. If a Democrat ran in each and knocked on 1,000 doors, that’s about 100 million quality voter contacts. That’s how we win.
