End of year gratitude

by The 100 Companies

As the year closed, I reflected on gratitude – not to ignore difficulties but to heighten awareness of the good. While my father’s death in April is still difficult, it has yielded bountiful benefits such as:

• Recognizing my own self-worth.

• Appreciating value in others.

• Forging stronger relationships with family and friends.

• Reevaluating priorities.

• Caring for myself.

• Embracing spirituality.

• Setting new goals.

• Easing worries.

Some tips to practice gratitude:

• Journal regularly.

• Take four minutes to write what you appreciate.

• Select something that redirects you towards gratitude.

• Share with others why you appreciate them.

• Send a note to someone who has impacted you.
