MLK Day events in Washington, DC

Here are some MLK Day events in DC on Jan. 15, 2018:

• 8 AM – The National Park Service will host a wreath laying service at the Martin Luther King Memorial.
• 11 AM – The 12th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Walk and Parade will take place.
• 2 PM – The Washington National Cathedral will host a celebration presented by the cathedral and DC’s performing arts community to pay tribute to Martin Luther King.
• 6 PM – The Kennedy Center and Georgetown University will host a concert in honor of Martin Luther King at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.
