• Sky Meadows State Park offers history paired with nature. The 1,860-acre park is on historic farmland and park rangers offer programs about post-Civil War life.
• Seneca Creek State Park has over 50 miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. The 6,300-acre park includes the 90-acre Clopper Lake and offers extras like disc golf and hunting.
• Gambrill State Park offers beautiful overlooks all the way to the Shenandoah Mountains. Discover 16 miles of trails, camping and even a playground in the park.
