Daniel Hannan, British politician and 17-year Member of the European Parliament, traveled across the pond earlier this month to speak about his role in the Brexit referendum.
Hannan explained the decision to leave the European Union was about shrugging off the EU and reestablishing the United Kingdom as a sovereign nation and capable of negotiating their own trade accords. Hannan also spoke of both his admiration of America’s founding fathers and the strong relationship between President Ronald Reagan and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Hannan’s fascinating message of economic freedom and personal liberty was hosted by Americans for Prosperity Oklahoma.
