An outdated, depression-era law is still on the books in Wisconsin, making it illegal for businesses to sell products — even prescription drugs — below cost.
I’m fighting special interests to repeal this policy and help Wisconsinites stretch their dollars as far as possible. Middle-class families deserve to participate in the same back-to-school and Black Friday sales as other states. And Wisconsin-grown businesses need this red tape cut so they can compete with websites like Amazon.
Government shouldn’t be policing low prices. Repealing this law and letting free markets bring down prices is in consumers’ best interest.
