On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor the men and women who have worn the uniform of our great nation.
This Congress, we’ve been working hard to bring wholesale reform to the Department of Veterans Affairs by instilling greater accountability, giving veterans the largest GI Bill increase in decades, and modernizing the appeals process for disability claims.
We’ve accomplished a lot for our nation’s heroes, but there is still much work to be done. As chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, I pledge to continue our work to put veterans first – not just today – but every day.
– Rep. Phil Roe, Chairman, House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs
