Mixing Business With Pleasure

Special thanks to Marc Goldstein and Creative Video for their work on this project.

While Mardi Gras is synonymous with New Orleans, did you know there is a Washington DC Mardi Gras? In 1944, Washington Mardi Gras was founded by Louisianians living in our nation’s capital who wanted to bring this revelry to DC.

Now overseen by the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians, it has evolved into three days of extraordinary networking with statewide influencers and political leaders showcasing Louisiana’s businesses and culture, culminating with an indoor parade. This year’s monarchs are Ochsner CEO Warner Thomas and his daughter Eastan. A party powerhouse, Washington Mardi Gras is a celebration of Louisiana, its politics and people.
