Profs and Pints finds a new stage online

It may be the middle of summer, but school is still in session.

Profs and Pints brings together the greatest local minds of academia for public lectures. Before COVID-19, talks were scheduled in local bars and shops, with topics ranging from history, economics, politics and more.

Tune in, with a pint from home, for their online summer series. Lectures by local professors are recorded to share while socially-distant. Today at 7 p.m. Professor Rui Diogo of Howard University gives a talk on “How Scientists Begat Racism.”

Don’t worry – you won’t have to study for a test at the end!
