‘I have a dream … ‘

by

Dr. Martin Luther King’s trailblazing spirit and leadership is so inspirational and moving to me, it feels like I was among the thousands who marched in Washington in 1963.

In his famous speech, he demanded that government recognize the fundamental rights of all people. Millions, like him, deserve the opportunity to pursue our dreams free from government oppression.

We should honor and respect Dr. King’s dream by supporting leaders who unite us, who allow us to be as ordinary or extraordinary as we choose, and who understand that government must honor and respect the fundamental rights of “We the People.”
