Transforming Care From ‘Fee for Service’ to ‘Fee for Value’

by

As the Senate considers the bill, the Congressional Budget Office’s score will be crucial in understanding the American Health Care Act’s likely impact on health costs and coverage.

We believe any replacement legislation for the Affordable Care Act has to create more competition. It must also strengthen the individual insurance marketplace, reduce health care costs overall, and expand the availability of affordable insurance coverage.

The goal should be to preserve the safety net for the most vulnerable among us, while at the same time continuing to accelerate the transformation in health care from fee for service to fee for value.
