President Trump was elected based on the support of rural and suburban voters in the nation’s heartland, who believed in his pledge to improve local economies in these so-called forgotten communities.
The Community Transportation Association of America and its members hope to see the President – as well as Congress – support infrastructure legislation that delivers real investment to these communities, not financing schemes that only benefit coastal elites and cities.
We believe the best place to start is by investing in buses and bus facilities that serve communities in every state, taking people to jobs, health care, education and more.
