The time is now

by

American infrastructure was once the envy of the world, but today, we have a $2 trillion infrastructure deficit.

A 21st century economy needs a 21st century infrastructure system. It’s critical that we modernize our infrastructure so our economy can grow and America can remain competitive.

The U.S. Chamber believes we can accomplish that goal by increasing the federal fuel user fee, taking a multi-faceted approach to leveraging public and private resources, streamlining the permitting process, and growing the American workforce. We believe this can be done on a bipartisan basis. The time to modernize America’s infrastructure is now.
