This past week the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) hosted a record number of state and local legislators in Nashville, Tennessee, for the annual States and Nation Policy Summit.
These legislators heard from economic greats Larry Kudlow, Steve Forbes, Dr. Art Laffer and Steve Moore, as well as Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam. ALEC awarded Dr. Laffer with the inaugural Laffer Award for Economic Excellence.
This annual event offers the unique opportunity for legislators to exchange ideas with one another. Issues discussed included: tax reform, education, health care, criminal justice reform and national security. To learn more, please visit ALEC.org.
