America’s future is technology. Governors know this, which is why the National Governors Association has launched NGA Future, its first-ever office focused on emerging technology policy.
This new effort will identify and highlight technologies that are likely to have the biggest impact on state government, economics and society in the coming years. Innovations such as autonomous transportation, 3D printing, financial technologies, automation and unmanned aerial systems all have the capability of disrupting the world we live in.
NGA Future will convene state leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs to identify these new technologies and highlight the social/economic trends facing governors.
