The road ahead for trucking

There are 3.5 million professional truck drivers throughout the country. That’s 3.5 million individuals who sacrifice family time to be on the road.

From the food we eat to the medicines we rely on, our drivers fulfill a critical need to deliver goods. And it’s up to Americans to make sure it’s not a thankless job.

It’s also up to us to make sure we are encouraging new generations to look to trucking as a viable and rewarding career path. We can do this by championing policies and education outreach programs like the ones described in this edition.
