Each of us is responsible for not driving distracted

by

Every time we get behind the wheel, we are entering into a tacit agreement with every other driver on the road. We agree to drive safely in exchange for their agreement to also drive safely.

Distracted driving, with the pervasive nature of technology in our modern lives, causes people to abandon their end of the agreement. Anything that a driver does behind the wheel other than purely focusing on driving is distracted driving.

Each of us has to make the active choice every time we get behind the wheel to not drive distracted. Only you can make the roads safe.
