How Hotels Are Putting Power in Guests’ Pockets

by

Ashford is embracing technology to improve the guest experience. Realizing that smartphones are changing the way guests engage with hotels, we are responding.

One example is through implementing remote check-in and mobile key technology throughout our independent hotel portfolio by partnering with OpenKey, the industry standard for universal mobile key technology in hotels. Guests at the hotel are able to request remote check-in from anywhere and receive a secure digital key directly to their smartphones, eliminating the need to stop at the hotel’s front desk upon arrival. This has improved guest satisfaction and reduced front desk staffing overhead.
