The average age of the American farmer is trending upward. Meanwhile, the need for a secure food supply intensifies each year.
We must invest in young farmers and ranchers. As Congress addresses numerous issues, encouraging and supporting young farmers must remain a high priority. This includes aiding agricultural organizations that give the next generation opportunities to stay involved in agriculture and reinforce family values.
