Advancing food safety is the number one goal of the American Frozen Food Institute. This goal of ours includes doubling down on Listeria monocytogenes (Lm) prevention and control by assisting our members with enhancing their best food safety practices, advocating for reasonable government policies, and educating consumers on the importance of following cooking instructions.
Especially around developing and implementing best food safety practices, AFFI members are committed to a continuous process of sharing best practices and learning from each other. This collaborative approach to food safety continues to ensure millions of Americans have access to nutritious, safe and affordable food.
