Farmers need the certainty of a new farm bill

It was another year in the red for American farmers and ranchers. With a 52-percent drop in net farm income over the past five years, producers’ backs are against the wall. But we can do something to help them.

We’re close to considering the 2018 Farm Bill to help address the challenges in farm country through strong farm policy and risk management tools. Our bill aims to provide stability to America’s producers, helping ensure they continue providing our nation with the safest, most abundant and affordable food supply in the world.
