Preserving market access through NAFTA is essential

by
U.S. Grains Council

NAFTA dramatically increased grain trade between Canada, Mexico and the United States, spurring deep integration of our feed and livestock sectors.

This has benefited U.S. farmers and exporters as well as Mexican and Canadian feed and livestock producers and the consumers they serve. Thanks to NAFTA, Mexico is now the top market for U.S. corn, U.S. barley and U.S. distiller’s dried grains with solubles, and a consistent market for U.S. sorghum.

Preserving market access through NAFTA is essential to continuing to grow demand and offer more North Americans high-quality meat, milk and egg products.
